Modest Beginings

The Gardendale Chamber of Commerce was established in 1987, with the goal of fostering a strong business community and promoting Gardendale as a great place to live, work, and shop.

The early Chamber meetings were modest, often held in local restaurants or community centers, where members would discuss ways to support one another and attract new businesses to town.

A Community Grows

As Gardendale grew, so did the Chamber. Playing a pivotal role in organizing events like the annual Gardendale Christmas Parade, local business expos, and community celebrations that drew visitors from surrounding areas.

The Chamber’s goal was to help shape Gardendale into a vibrant suburban city, with a strong sense of community and a desirable location for both families and businesses.
