Gardendale is a quiet pocket of friendly people, shady neighborhoods,
and prosperous businesses. Our city began its life in the 1830s as
a farming community, but today the city of Gardendale is recognized
as a leader in North Jefferson County, and boasts a population of
about 12,000 residents, four schools, and 400 businesses.
